The aim of this project is to provide a strategic framework for the Intelligent Transport Systems (ERTMS, ITS, RIS, VTMIS, e-freight) and IT system (e–documents, interfaces etc.) deployment in South East Europe through targeted action plans for each mode and their interfaces, towards enhancement of transport flows in the region and integration of all transport modes together with the other public systems (customs, border police etc.).

The purpose of this survey is to enhance the outcomes of discussions with relevant stakeholders by listening also to the needs of the users, the wider business community and society, regarding their aspirations and expectations on ITS deployment in the region.
